The relationship between sociocultural adaptation and L2 pragmatic development during online study abroad

Although several linguists have examined the studies on study abroad (SA), limited focused online study-abroad contexts. The current investigates production of pragmatic routine and its influence sociocultural adaptation during abroad. This involved Indonesian students in English Chinese-taught programs at Beihang University, China. As a mixed method, this uses Vocabulary Knowledge Scale (VKS) Sociocultural Adaptation (SCAS) to measure students’ routines adaptation.
